o2.o9.1o // heyy, sorry i haven't been working lately. i need to tell you guys that i'll be slowly making progress on the site due to a bombardment of homework, as well as stress aside from school. i should also mention that for some reason, i haven't been acting 'myself' lately, and to be honest, it's scary. so yeah. i need to deal with this, and i though i'd let you know i'm here so please don't give up on the site!
o1.27.1o // firstly, i'd like to thank those who have joined for sticking with me and joining ^^ and i hope you guys know that you are able to roleplay if you can't wait for official opening. yeah, our boards are a bit.. low right now, but i'll be making more soon. promise. i've just had a lot of homework lately. :] will be setting up shop soon, as well as alliances and the like~
—MANDATORY READS (1 sub-board) everything that you should know about the site is located here. if you don't read this, you'll be completely lost, and most likely will get into a lot of trouble. please read it, and above all, enjoy your stay on flightless.
—ANNOUNCEMENTS (2 sub-boards) any and all new information or events pertaining to the site will be posted here, so make sure to check it often! activity checks occur at random times, as well as polls on your opinions of certain site policies and things. just know this is an important board.
—OUT OF CHARACTER (3 sub-boards) if you're not feeling up to posting in-character, feel free to hang out in this board, where you can do pretty much anything; from playing games to chatting to showing off your art or writings. guest friendly. just don't procrastinate too much.
—PLUG BOARD (2 sub-boards) this is the only place on the site where you can advertise your site or affiliate with us. there are no special particular rules to follow, but please have some manners, and use proper advertising etiquette.
—ARCHIVES (1 sub-board) any and all completed threads or forgotten ones will be placed here. if you wish to bring a thread of yours back, please pm a staff member, and they will surely move it for you. if not, then they'd better have a good reason not to.

CREATION
—CHARACTER CREATION (3 sub-boards) once you've finished reading the rules and necessary info, you may now make your character. please follow the form appropriately, and try not to edit it too much, aside from colors and the like. remember, no nagging staff members to check it all the time! we'll try to read it as fast as we can.
—ACCEPTED CHARACTERS (4 sub-boards) all accepted characters will be moved here once approved by a staff member.(oh, redundancy!) they have been divided up into blood categories rather than the uniform male/female categories. there is also a section for dead characters.
—CHARACTER LOGS there are some perfectionists out there who like to keep track of all their characters and all that stuff. if you're one of those people, you may keep one thread in here to do so. you can put whatever you want in your thread, and it's completely optional.

—WANTED BOARD (2 sub-boards) after your character has been accepted, you can now roleplay and do whatever you want around the site. but before you go, you might want to plot with fellow members. if you're searching for a specific character or relationship you'd like post here, and if you're just making a plot thread, post in the plot boards.

—FACTION BOARD (4 sub-boards) this is the board for all of the factions to use, out of character. (the rest of the boards below are mainly for in character roleplaying. here faction members and leaders can discuss important things, plot, create alliances or clans, and especially declare war on one another. of course that's something only leaders should be doing, but of course, members can throw in their inputs.

FACTIONS
—LAMENTIUM lamentium's territory is pretty much an open plain, with a few trees, shrugs, and small foliage scattered about. the terrain is pretty suitable for all types of pokemon, but of course, there will be some who love it, and others who hate it. there is a small village in the distance where many idling members of the faction hang out, and they allow some wanderers and travelers through.

—GENEREA strangely enough, generea's headquarters are located in an underground abandoned facility, which seems to be an old science laboratory. decrepit, dilapidated, and a bit on the ruined side, it's the perfect cryptic place for the faction. they rarely let wanderers in.

—CAIRUS the faction of cairus resides in the many lush, thick forests of azureax. like a pack, they are somewhat nomadic, but they never leave the forest they claim is theirs. they can be quite territorial, so if you're out searching for them, you'd best watch yourself. most live off the land, but there are the occasional members that carry tents or backpacks.
—ARTRENAI in the darkest, deepest, depths of a forest there lies an old, dilapidated ruin, too antiquated for anyone to be able to tell what it once was. the well-known faction of artrenai seems to reside here at most times, though no one outside of the faction aside from other leaders actually knows it's the location of this mystifying ruin. the cracked, corroding stones are slowly being covered with growing moss, as well as many tall strands of unkempt grasses are overtaking the area.
—ARTHEN WOODS arthen woods are quite dark and dreary; the perfect place for suspicious characters to hang out, and perhaps frighten little children. a cold, dense fog settles over the forest floor, and the trees are gray and cold with death, though it's difficult to tell if they're dead or not. strangely enough, the trees have large conglomerates of leaves, shading the woods from the sun, and giving it an eerie feeling. moss and mushrooms tend to grow around here, and it can be slick if you're not careful.
—LOZ FALLS somewhere in the vast fields of green, there lies a river, flowing smoothly yet swiftly, until they crash over the ledge of a plateau and splash into s large lake. this tremendously mesmerizing waterfall is known as loz falls, and is said to be quite peaceful. many traveling pokemon may stop to rest in this general area. the water is entrancing and crystal clear, and the grass surrounding the area is lush, if a bit wet and slushy sometimes.

—FRAKTUR PLAINS in the northern wilderness, there are many trees and shrubs blocking many paths and views. however, in the midst of all this foliage lies a vast, empty clearing, filled with nothing but tall grasses, wildflowers, and the occasional rock or three. known for its exceedingly windy weather, if you don't watch yourself, you may find yourself getting thrown around by the wind.
—VYRATTI BOGLANDS the boglands is pretty much the last place you'd ever want to go on azureaux. with thick swampy waters that not even those with the keenest eyes could see through, you do not want to get lost in this forest of damp, dark trees, along with soggy mud squishing beneath you as you travel through the bog. getting dirty is pretty much unavoidable.
—BYRTH JUNGLE the jungle that bears uncontrollable vines, branches, and foliage, a lot of pokemon get entangled in these unknown plants, if they are unable to hack their way through. a lot of the leaves found here have not been identified yet, so effects are unknown. it's easy to get lost, and many might just meet their end here.

THE SOUTH
—SEFFIN CITY seffin city is one of the rare cities located out in the desolate south. it has small buildings made out of bricks, and they hardly exceed one story. most of the city is covered in small, short grasses, covered with a thin layer of frost; and not much else. the streets, so to speak, are pretty empty most of the time.

—FREIZEN GROVE a small frosty grove, secluded from most of the world, freizen is almost completely surrounded by a wall of frost-covered trees, with a small, narrow opening that leads into an open circle. with only short, sometimes snow-covered grass in the tiny clearing, many often seek shelter here; others using it as a training ground.

THE WEST
—XEIM ABYSS located on a steep platform-like ledge, there is hardly much grass to be found here, and it's all mostly crumbling rocks, and a few large boulders laying about. leaning over the edge, you can see pitch black darkness, that seems to go on forever, as if bottomless. think about it: how many poor dead bodies could be laying down there?

—ITAZE MOUNTAIN moving along the flat lands, the very few grasses and shrugs you see slowly decrease in number, and you stand before a monolithic mountain, looming high overhead, as if challenging you. itaze mountain is very high indeed, and touches the clouds, and has a snow-capped top. there are little to no plants in the area, and some rocks may be a bit loose, but in the past, there have been no records of rockslides.

CENTRAL AZUREAX
—YOMINAI CITY being somewhere near the center of the region, yominai is the most prosperous and successful cities. it can truly be called a city, as it is quite expansive, with fancy, delicate buildings, intricate designs, and an ever-growing population. yominai is where most of the action happens, and has lots of things going on often.
—ZIOREN VILLAGE the only place where the dead can seek refuge, zioren is a quiet, literally and figuratively lifeless village in so many ways. similar to your small villages, there are mainly just simple straw huts and wooden buildings around, with short grass, few wildflowers, and many trees in the surrounding landscape. one of the reasons why many aren't found here is because they are most likely lost in the other terrible lands in the realms of the dead.
